PbxTools 2.0 TODO List
From Call Accounting Wiki
We have 10 years of success with PhoneJournal 1.x, others would already made 2.x, 3.x but we considered that we should change the number only when the new version will not be compatible with the old one.
The 2.0 project is under heavily development and Q1/2008 we'll have the beta available.
Here it's a list of changes in PbxTools 2.0:
- Unicode application - we'll be able to translate to any language without limitations
- Support for MySQL, PostgreSQL and SQL Server
- new database structure
- pbxmon will run as a service by default
- pbxmon will support monitoring several pbx units from the same computer
- phonejournal will support natively many CDR sources (pbx units, manual logs) - current versions supports them with some hacking.
[edit] PbxTools 2.0 web edition
- 90% of the application will be we based
- the monitoring service will be multi-platform (windows, mac osx and linux)
